The youngest learners at LBS visited the Little Farm in Southwest Miami Dade on Friday, December 11th. Students, along with their teachers and chaperones, took their learning outdoors. Some of the Big Ideas introduced in the PreK curriculum are: parts of our city, people and animals, where we live and taking care of one another. The Little Farm represents an opportunity for students to learn about what our city offers, to see animals on a farm and to help take care of them. That's right! Our boys and girls fed the goats and chickens like champions. They rode on the ponies and watched the piglets play. What a fantastic day at the Little Farm!
