The fourth and fifth grade students at Lenora B. Smith Elementary, along with family and friends, enjoyed Family Science Night hosted Wednesday, December 9, 2015. The event showcased the individually submitted project boards for students in grades four and five. Parents and friends enjoyed the interactive science stations ranging from electricity to states of matter to building structures. Ms. Pierre, Science Liaison, did an excellent job coordinating this evening of science with all members of the family in mind. A special thanks to all of teachers for staying and assisting with this night. At the conclusion of the night first through third place winners by grade level were announced and were each given their own science kit to take home! Congratulations to all of our scientists; we are so proud of you!
